What is the channel flats on a TC 56 smooth bore? Will a green mountain barrel fit on that stock if the barrel is made for a hawken/renegade with 1" flats. Thanks Guys. Steve

All Renegade barrels are 1" across the flats. TC Hawkens measure 15/16" for .45 and .50, and 1" for .54 factory barrels.
In theory, GM barrels that measure the same will drop in. In practice, they may require a bit of work on the barrel tenon, the rib, the barrel channel, or the hammer. My 15/16" dropped right in. My 1" GM barrel wouldn't fit one stock, but dropped in another without any problem.

All my green mountain barrels in my Renegade stocks only need to have the thimble rib cut off a small amount and then turn the ramrod tension spring around. They work great. If that smoothbore is in a Renegade stock it would be 1" on the flats like tcshooter said.
