That's not an outhouse.. that is a custom built smokehouse, standing along the edge of the yard near the bench. I took the galvanized steel shell off a oldfurnace, mounted it on a heating element from a old gas stove top, and then insulated and build a little house around it. The smoke escaped through a damper in the top. You just hook a #20 propane cylinder up to it, light burners and then you can adjust the heat and temperature inside the smoker. So it is nothing more then a gas smoker for when I have fish and such that needs special treatments..

You have to understand.. where I live, we throw nothing away (according to my father). Instead we find something else to use it for.

City people just have no idea of the recycle/reuse consept. Should see the nice self propelled mower I picked out of the trash. It had a bent blade.
