Oh sure and noone ever listens to me.. just like with the powerbelt thing. You'll love the palm swell and the beaver tail forearm on the stock, it makes you feel like u can hold it rock steady all day long. But enjoy the new rifle.

Dave and I have corresponded on technical subjects before, and no offense to you, he actually covered all the major questions I had. He's a very knowledgeable person, I do respect his opinion considerably.

146 and im guessing 148. Either way they were long lol. I try to answer questions as best as i can but i dont answer questions about traditions inlines due to me never owning one. But one thing i do know, winchester sets it self apart from cva/bpi by a long shot when it comes to quality and building a great shooting rifle. I just favor winchester due to them shooting whatever u stuff down the barrel and like ive said many many times, they shoulder well and the balance is amazing. I know of 3 bullets that have shot well in my rifle and tell others who ask what shoots good. I may come off as a trouble maker, especially when Triple and i get in to it lol but i mean no harm to him or anyone else. Every forum needs 2 guys like triple and me to bring out the up's and downs about other muzzleloaders. Its like the winchester muzzleloader, I havnt found one bad report unless you cound the guy with the .45 x-150 and accuracy problems. I only owned one .45 Ml'er and it shot well with the 285 remington bullets. If it wernt for me talking about the winchesters, alot of guys/girls would be missing out of this amazing deal going on. And they truely are excellent made ML'ers. I always see, ahhhh made in spain, they are junk. Not true at all! You'll find out soon enough that the made in spain winchester will hang with the big boys.

Both you and triple se7en are A-OK in my book. Glad you're both here and I enjoy reading your posts.
It really does seem that T/C hasbenefitted greatly from the smearing of BPI. Lots of folks participating, though I think well intentioned for the most part. I don't know of any weak stainless alloys or "soft" ones so I feel 100% comfortable that the Apex will handle everything and anything I intend to stuff in it.
Even so, T/Cwill be around for a long time and they are a good company. Even after the abuse my T/C hawken has been through, its still a shooter after 30 years andI understand still under warranty today. So I guessit fair to say that I sure do hope "america's master gunmaker" continues its gunmaking traditions

Yeah but one thing TC is doing that will end up hurting them i feel they are shying away from the traditional muzzleloaders. Sure they have the hawken and a couple others but they have been around for more years than i can remember. Time for a new traditional muzzleloader. They may not sell like hot cakes but you need to think about the traditional shooters that are looking for a old sidelock or flintlock. As for TC smearing BPI, look at all the people who have come out from hiding and admitted to having poor triggers on their TC's. Face it, cva has only turned out one rifle that i know of that was bad and that was the apollo. And that was only on certain models made. Traditions i dont know about for sure, I got a new frizzen from them because i thought mine was bad and so they sent me a new one. No problems with the rifle in almost a year. But you have to admit that BPI has really made a change in cva and turned it around. If im not mistaken, cva is the #1 selling brand muzzleloader. Sure they throw out some rifles with some trigger issues but look at TC as we've been finding out. If they dont test them at the factory, theres no way of knowing what you will get. I was actually suprised when i noticed all the TC's coming out of the woodwork with trigger issues. And im not Bashing TC in anyway. It appears there have been a good number of people with TC trigger issues that TC needs to adjust and make sure the customers get what they expect and paid for. But anyways, sorry to ramble on like this lol, i get in my moods sometimes where you cant shut me up. But most importantly, enjoy the new rifle, let us all know what you think of it and how it shoots.

The unfortunate who are complaining about poor triggers, IMHO, are not admitting to anything, they are complaining and hoping that someone will encourage them in their quest for customer satisfaction. Many bought those rifles on the advice they are a far, far, better value. If I buy a T/C inline, and I suspect that I will, I can guarantee you that it won't be through the mail. Not for that price and considering the fact they don't seem willing to make good on the trigger,I will have to hold it, shoulder it, dry fire it, and if there is one thing I don't like about it i'll say, "Bring another, this one isn't good enough"
