RE: Scope / Bore Sighting ????? (Way Off)
I would of had the gun smith just mouth the scope and save my $40 dollars on bore sighting, if I knew it wasn't going to save me a bunch of shots. I could buy 100 rounds for that $40 and still be ahead when I go to the woods.

I bought all the mounts, rings & the services, your probably right on the $20 charge.
I would have to pull my reciept to see the exact charges for the bore sighting.
No big deal, would cost me more to drive back into town to have them redo it anyways.

I always did like several others here recommended looked down the actual barrel at close range, but one of the guys I shoot with most often bought one of those fancy laser bore sighters.
I gotta tell ya we set up my last scope with it, starting at 35 yards it was dead nutz on. Moved to 50 yards and only adjusted three clicks elevation 2 clicks right. Out to 100 yards and it is shooting right on with where it should be.
Those things are pretty slick, ya get them lined up in the barrel and they project a laser dot on your target to adjust your scope to, easy as pie.
