Finally got out yesterday to shoot the Elite again. Sabotloader, I shot all the bullets you sent me along with the Harvester sabots. All were with 2 T7 pellets and at 50 yards. The .458 you sent were the Hornady HP's. They shot around 2" groups. Loaded very easy. The Gold Dot 300's did not group, the Gold Dot 250's did better but still not good. Of course this is probably due to the shooter and the cleaning between shots. The Hornady 300 XTP mags were 1" groups. All these were 3 bullet shots.
Shot the 200 grain shockwaves again and the shoot very well again. Pretty tight but not to bad. I shot a bunch of 348? powerbelts. VERY accurate and easy to load. Could shoot them easly without swabing between shots.
Yesterday was the most I have shot the gun at one time. In fact, my left thumb has a blister on it from clicking the safety on and off on the Elite.
Thanks for the bullets and sabots Pete.

Very interesting, you know of course that guns are as individual as people and two identical guns may prefer different loads.also you might consider loose powder and different loads. In my particular gun the more powder I put behind the 50/40 200gr the better they shoot of course I stopped at 150 gr as the operators manual said. Lee

I bought the pellets so I could just get out and shoot. I plan on using powder now that the pellets are gone.
The shockwaves had the biggest POI change. Probably 4" higher than all the others.
I was a good day to shoot. I was the only one at the range and I left my cell phone at home. Think I'm going to start leaving or turning the cell phone off more!

cur dog, wait till you see the POI change with 150 gr. of course 777 is the one powder I don't use;I don't think I would use that much 777.
I was truly amazed at the accuracy and volicity I got with them out of my Omega. With "0" 2 inch high at 100yd, I can hit clay bird almost every time at 200 by holding on the top edge. Lee

With T7, the max loose powder is 120 measured is what I was told.
i'm going to try and see if I can get some Swift A-frames, Partition golds and Win Platinum Tips to group. I really like those three bullets.

Which Shockwave are you talking about the 10mm 200 or the .452 250?
I am assuming it is the 200????
I have been shooting some 10mm 200 XTP's and they do shoot real well. I still have that concern in the back of my head that they would not be enough for Elk. Use to be that is all I shot from my 300 win mag was 200 grain Noslers & Sierra's - but i keep thinking I was shooting them at or near 3000fps and they were truly rifle bullets. I still worry about these pistol bullets coming apart @ 2400 fps, impacting bone and doing whatever they are going to do.

Sorry, they were the .40 200 grain shockwaves. I have some platinum tips and I'm going to shoot them on the next trip. Also going to order the A-frames and the Partition-HG's.

I was shooting my Knight Disc today with 120 grains of loose Pyrodex RS and 250 grain Shockwaves. The accuracy was exceptional. I really liked the way it shot. I also shot some of the 375 grain Buffalo Bullet SSB's with 100 grains of Swiss 3f out of it, and the accuracy was real good, but not as good as the Shockwaves. Then I started shooting 60 grains of Swiss 3f and patched roundball out of it, and believe it or not, it did a real good job with them.
All shooting was done with open sights at the 30 yard station off a bench rest.
