Accessories for New Frontier Beartooth
I'm pretty new to muzzle loading and purchased the New Frontier Beartooth Magnum .50 about 1 1/2 years ago. The scope that it came with was a piece of junk, so I've been shooting open sights. I recently purchased a BPI red dot sight for the gun while I was on vacation, however the scope base mounts are two pieces and are set too far apart for the sight. I've contacted Cabelas who related the one piece base they have comes in a scope kit for $69.00. I was informed by Cabelas to call the New England firearms companybecause they had a one piece base that would fit my gun. Upon contacting them, the related they had no such item.
Does anyone know where I can get a one piece base mount for a New Frontier Beartooth Magnum.50? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have the Beartooth in 45cal. With the pineridge scope
that came with it. I used the two piece mounts only I
had to turn the one around to get proper eye relief.
I've taken three deer and one turkey with it. It really
loves the powerbelts. Hope this helps.

That happens to be a problem with some of the BSA RED DOTS. I had the same thing happen to me. I ended up taking the RED DOT back. I use a Bushnell Trophy RED DOT because it has adjustable rings instead of a one piece base. Perhaps you could get a machine shop to make you a base cheaper then you could buy one. For .69.00 you can buy a Trophy RED DOT from Bushnell from time to time and sell the BSA.
