Awe the dilema of which tag to apply for? I love it all bowhunting, rifle, muzzleloader, and pistol. If it was legal to use a spear I would go for that aleast once. lol.
Every year I sit through hours thinking on what to hunt with. So in my case I have come up with a plan that kinda works. For elk I rifle hunt when I have an open season without clients. I haven't killed as many elk with a bow as a rifle so I tend towards it more often now. Muzzleloader I have to wait two years to draw so it fills a gap on off years.
Throw bear and deer into the equation and it lets me rifle hunt one, archery hunt one, and muzzleloader hunt one all in the same year every other year. So it works out. But no I can not pick just one.
That's alot of shooting every year so I can stay well practiced with each.

Weapon of choice would be a bow hands down.I like my .300wsm and .454 Casull but you can use a bow for almost anything from coyotes to moose.Even fish.Plus I think archery is more of a challenge when it comes to skill.
