I getting my CCW permit in a week and I'm going to carry a Taurus PT 145, Just want an idea of what everyone else carries or feels is the perfect CCW weapon. I personally like the PT 145 its a sub compact with a 10+1 capacity of 45 acp Ive been really happy with it sofar I can hold fist size groups at 15 yards with double taps and tennis ball size groups with slow fire and at 7 yards I can hold 10 shots inside an inch.

I carry a Glock 27 in .40S&W about 99% of the time. I'm very happy with this weapon. My duty weapon is a Glock 22 so the 27 fits the CCW bill nicely. I carry mine in a Sidearmor 4th generation IWB holster and forget it's there.

Nothing better than a 1911 in comander or defender size. I personally really like a comander size 1911 with a clipdraw.

One of two, depending on if I'm carrying a revolver or pistol:

1. Ruger SP101, 3", 357Mag.
2. Sig239, 9mm

I have a Virginia CWP and have a small Taurus 85, .38sp snubnose. If I want to carry, man I can hide that little thing anywhere! [8D]

I carry a Kel-Tec P-11 9mm with the belt clip. S&W hi-cap mags fit it.

I carry an HK compact in 45 ACP. Very comfortable and enough to spoil someones bad intentions.

I wish California was free state; most of us will never get a CCW permit out here. If I could, I would carry a small framed S&W .38, preferably with a 3" barrel. They're certainly no powerhouse but carrying a heavy handgun is a nuisance.

I have a couple I carry. My primary CCW gun is a Glock Model 27 in 40 cal. It has Trijicon Night Sights.I carry it in a Uncle Mikes Inside the pants. I can carry it all day and never know I have it on.Once in awhile I'll carry a S&W Model 649 38spl (pre-agreement).

Glock 26 usually and a Kel Tec P 3AT 380 as a backup or when it is really hot outside.
