RE: Unit 76 in Colorado
Haven' t hunted there, but know several that have. They did well on bulls, but there is a lot of roadless country, so packing in is almost a must. Are you a resident or nonres? If nonresident, you may have a tough time getting drawn. Here are the pref. point stats for last fall:
Archery: Res: 3-4
non: 4-5
Muzz season: Res: 5-6 (all with 6 points drew, not all with 5 points).
Non: 8-9
1st rifle: Res: 4-5
non: 6-7
2nd rifle: Res: 4-5
non: 5-6
3rd rifle: Res: 4-5
non: 5 (all but 1 drew)
Archery: Res: 3-4
non: 4-5
Muzz season: Res: 5-6 (all with 6 points drew, not all with 5 points).
Non: 8-9
1st rifle: Res: 4-5
non: 6-7
2nd rifle: Res: 4-5
non: 5-6
3rd rifle: Res: 4-5
non: 5 (all but 1 drew)

sc what part of 76 are you thinking about? 76 is pretty tuff to hunt unless you settle on a ceratin area. Is it going to be rifle, muzzleloader or archery course all of these make a difference.let me know i might be able to save you some time
