Well Rick?!? Where are the pictures?? I'm still waiting to hear if Tim made it out hunting or not, but you could keep us busy for a while with some good eye candy....lol

Lovely weather for bowhunting... 90, humidand windy. [:'(] We saw some does but no buck movement which wasn't real surprising. Even the skeeters were sweating !! Temps are going to get cooler. Imight get to sneak out for some hunts this weekwhile waiting for the pintos beans to dry down for cutting. I'll keep you posted.

sweet!!!...thats awesome u already get to hunt.....all i got to say is ur one lucky guy!...lol....moved a stand and put up them ladder stands....i found a nice shed layin bout 15 yards from one of the ladder stand i put up....i couldnt see it till i was in the ladder stand....haha...prolly a 50" side...gonna be a nice one this year if he grows alot

this property i jus found...so i havent shed hunted it yet....and looks like no one has either.....private property...kinda far from home....but it looks promising!

Ok, I finally got my internet down here at college, but it is extremely slow, so I might not be on too much, but I will keep checking in periodically and you can be sure that I will be hunting!!!!

Good luck on the new property.You've been very busyscouting. When does your season start??

I am going out for a fast hunt before work tomorrow morning. More a scouting mission then anything but might as well be prepared with bow in hand. I just didn't get to scout this summer like I usually do. I hate going into a spot without a good game plan. [:@]

Congrats on the shed!! Hopefully you get to see the owner of it. It is nice to be hunting. Just wished it hadn't been so blasted hot. I stalked up on some does last night but passed up shooting any. There is agood buck in this area and I didn't want to mess it up with shooting a doe. I have other spots just for doe hunting so will wait for a bit cooler temps before shooting one. Sounds like the cool temps move in Tuesdays.

WELL WITH THE EXTENDED WEEKEND I DID A LITTLE SCOUTTING. I DROVE TO ONE OF MY BACKUP LOCATIONS AS I CALL IT AND WATCHED THE BEAN FIELD NEXT TO IT. VIDEO SIX DOES AND TWO BUCKS ONE WAS A SIX POINTER ABOUT 1 1/2 YEARS OLD AND THE OTHER ONE LOOKS LIKE AN 8 POINTER HARD TO TELL. MID MORING I WENT INTO THE WOODS AND FOUND SOME REAL GOOD TRIALS AND HUNG A COUPLE OF STANDS. ANYONE SEEING ANY BIG BONE ?.

my season starts oct. 1st...a whole month away... oh i have a concern with the deer that were entered into the contest....i thought the whole deer must be visible!?
