Nice doe buckeyehntr, Rob and I had a cool night on Monday with him out in front of the camera ( see main forum ) Tonight is my turn. We hung a new set on Sunday afternoon just for a day like today. I am the shooter for the next two days, then we travel to York, PA to hunt with twildasin. He has some doe thinning todo down there, but has a few monsters running around as well. He says they are fair game too. Should be a great weekend. It will be Rob, Matt/PA, twildasin, KIDD642, and myself.
We shall see what comes of it. Good luck to all, look for video tonight.

Lows in the low 30's! Should get the deer movin a little more... Can't wait! A couple more weeks and I start my RUT vacation. I've always wanted to take a buck on Oct. 31st and that's the day I start. I'll have around 8 - 10 days off

Good morning fellas. Only seen two damn deer over the weekend!!! Seemed like every place I went I was covered up in turkeys. Hopefully my luck will change this week.

I hunt 100 acres and most of it is standing corn. They are finally cutting the corn so I'm hoping to see more deer moving to the corn soon. I Have not seen much besides for younger bucks. I'm pumped to hunt over that cut corn though!!!
How many of you have alot of success over cut corn compared to standing corn? what tactics do you use?

Now that I have a doe in the freezer, I am really gonna get serious about some bone. Heading out tonight with a SW wind, the stand choice is one that calls for some serious accuracy. I have a cameraman for the evening, so we shall see what happens.

I should kick myself in the A$$!!! Look who showed up 100yds away from one of my stands Sat. @ 2:30. Didn't feel good about the wind so I chose to hunt a different property. At least I know he is still sticking around...... For now

Was up north duck hunting this past weekend. I'm staying out of the deer woods here in SE- PA. The in-line gun hunters are hunting Doe this week and have the deer all twisted up. I would like to thank the PGC for letting gun hunting in archery season! You are the BEST!!!! Whats next X-BOWS!!! LOL!!!!! PGC gotta luv them[:@] Where have you gone Gary Alt?? Had two nice mature does running through the fresh cut corn last night. A young buck was with them also, looked like a small eight or decent 6. He was getting his ladies rounded up for the rut. Good sign!!!!
Bad news is I tried taking a wack at one of the ladies and shot right into the corn under her [:@] well it was a clean miss, a shot I wish I could have taken back, but it happends. She had no clue what was going on either
