Congratulations on the doe Nathan. I hope somehow your quad turns up too.

I saw nothing but bushytails last night. however, work was stinking and i needed to get out. So, it was a lot better sitting in the woods then being in my office.

If work wasn't so crazy I'd leave early today too. As soon as Muzzleloader is over I'll be ltaking a few days off and hunting hard during the rut.

well you guys i borrowed my freinds quad and moved to a new area thats abou 100yrds from a bedding area seperating them from the feilds i found about 5 scrapes near the spot and im goin to hit it tommorow im liking this spot they have to funnel through there bc a messy swamp on one side and a really thick brush/ log jam so im liking the oddswish me luck and i wish you guys luck too btw thanks for the congrats on the doe guys it was my 5th deer altogether and my 2nd with a bow

morning fellas...i hunted last evening seen 4 does come out across the field about 200 ydrs away, and that was it. i cant wait for the prerut to kick in, shouldnt be long now.

Sounds like a good spot Nathan, and congrats again on #2. I'm hoping for #2 on Sat. Mark, I love the pre-rut, my favorite time to hunt. Especially if you can hunt during that 4-5 day window when calling is so effective. Nothing like it. Here anytime now.

Fun2hunt...yep it sure is, i tried a little light rattling last evening but nothing, its just like fishing though...if you dont have sucessone day youcant give up...you gotta keep trying.

Im not going to get back out until saturday here....its blowing 40mph here today and pouring rain, and supposed to be the same yuk weather tommorrow.

I will be out on Saturday. It supposed to be a low of 59 and a high of 82. Should be perfect for hunting.
