Welcome Back Dan!

I don't have much going on. Still waiting for season to open. I'm practicing with my broadheads now. Trying to shake off my bad habits from shooting fish all summer.

Here's my broadhead/field point group at 25 yards. I now know that if/when I miss a deer, it will be all me. [:-][&o]

Nice shootin' Christine! I hope were all as perpared as you are. Right now im trying to decide on which broadhead im going to use this season. I have narrowed it down to 2, the new 2-blade Rage Slip-Cam or the old reliable G5 Montecs. Right now im shooting 4.5" Groups to 40 yds. with the montecs. Im going to test next week whether or not the Rages will bring my groups down to around 2-3." I guess we'll see.

Wow, seems like our team has a serious case of zipper-lip!!!!!

Well dmax, I'm baaaaaaaack!!!!!! No elk but I had an amazing time and a was almost close enough to smack a big 6x6. When I get a little more time I will post a thread with a bunch of pics and story in the main board and get a link in here.

With that....Its time to lay the smack on a big Canadian brute. I will be setting up a couple of stands the next few days and will hopefully be hunting next week. My brother is up here and has found a couple of gagger sheds....I'll take a few pics tomorrow and post em up.

Until then.......get the crap outta your mouths and start talking a little!!!!LOL!

Zipper Lip, That's a good one.

Welcome back Dan! Sorry to hear you didn't connect, but that's hunting and I'm sure the memories that were made is what keeps us going after them. Can't wait to see the pic's and hear some of the stories.
Glad you to see you back and ready to get us on board with one of those big Canadian Bruisers.
I'm not heading out to our lease in Ohio until the 1st weekend in October.
I haven't been seeing any buck around here so I'm not sure what may be in store for the 1st day that starts our PA season on the 29th.

I did some scouting today. I'm very disappointed. I didn't find any sign.
It is so dry hear. Season opens this Saturday. Doesn't look very promising.
Has anybody been seeing any sign?
