I shoot the 2 blade Rage, and to be honest I don't think I will be shooting ANYTHING ELSE, at least for a long time. They are absolutely devestating. Worth every penny

I believe that puts us at 18 2/8" behind Team 1. Man we simply can not go that way. Where you at drhuntr? I know you done put the smack on a good one. I will find a Jackalope with 20" Mainbeams if that's what it takes. LOL

On a side note, we have more wonderful weather this week. 60's at night 70's in the daytime. Rain chance of 20% and 30% every day and night. We do however have a small cool front moving in Wed. night so maybe that will stir something with horns for me. I also just aquired some new hunting transportation, so that will make it easier to go where I want, when I want.

Hopefully Rob will read this and tally our score including Beagle's buck.

Good luck to the rest of us.

Wow! Did you guys put some deer on the board. Way to go everyone! Congratulations!

Unfortunately I dont have one to add. The weather and deer didnt cooperate on my trip. The best buck I had an opportunity to shoot was a 2.5 yo 8pt that would have went 115-120. Im holding out for something bigger this year. The same day I passed on that one I had a giant 8 that would have made 150's easy at 60 yds. He wouldnt come any closer and I only saw him one day.

Theres still plenty of time left though, I killed by best archery buck last year indecember. Dont count me out yet boys.Ill put one down

Speaking of braodheads... I am considering switching to the Rage blades because so many people are having good luck with their performance. I have been shooting 85 grain Wasp HAmmers for almost a decade and I have killed a lot of things with them, but the blood trails are not great. Their cutting diameter is 1 3/16, which isn't bad but 2" is obviously a lot better. I am convinced that if my dad had shot his buck with one that is as devastating as that Rage seems to be that we would have found it no problem. $13 a piece is a bit rediculous though.

huntingson, he was a brute, biggest clean 8 ive seen in the wild. He was tending o doe 60 yds away. Got to watch him plenty thru the binos. 7" brows, 20" spread, G2 and 3's around 10" and 9" with plenty of mass and beams. Didnt respond to grunt, bleat, and after he started to leave I hit him with a snort wheeze, he just trotted away.

I have a shed of a 150 calss 8 point. Never seen one alive though. I don't know where all those big monsters went this year but I didn't see one of them at all this year. I need to find some private land to hunt on arond here!
