Hey guys,hopefully everyone is doing great.
I would like to appologise to my team for not being on here enough in the past few weeks.Looks like everyone is doing a great job on the team thread.Scaring everyone and letting everyone know we will be the champs.This way it wont be a big heartbreak and shocker to them all if we just break them into the news slowly
As you all know I am in the process of selling my house.I put the sign up on tuesday and we had 3 showings already.No takers yet but they are all interested.Hopefully she goes soon so we can get back to normal around here.Then I will be looking for a house in the sticks with a little land to have more freedom---lol
October 1st is my opener and I will be out for the day,hopefully seeing lots of action.I hope you members that are hunting already are having fun and being safe,good luck to you and the ones who starts their seasons later when I do.
Hopefully I can get on here a lot more ,but things are hectic around here with shift work as well.I will promise one thing though,I will be out hunting alot and give the team and myself 110% effort on getting a nice deer.
I do read this thread every day but just no time to reply,that will change as well.
I think we have an awesome team with alot of experience and we can all win this thing.Just remember to have fun and be safe.Take the deer that you will be happy with,not what everyone else wants you to get.Remember its your deer.
If we all get one,being big or small,the inches will add up and this contest is in the bag

I got out 3 times the first week of archery season, .....last week. I'm planning on being on stand Tuesday evening.........Thursday morning........Thursday evening......Friday evening....and Saturday morning and evening. I'll mix all this up between 3 tracts. I got photos of 3 different bucks from a mineral lick on one of my new tracts......but the largest is a 7 pointer that I wouldn't shoot at. I gues it would be a great place to take some does, though. They seem to be in there at ALL times of the day, too. Kinda weird, to me. I guess they get ZERO pressure.....so they aren't spooked (landowner doesn'tlet anyone else hunt there, exept me). Maybe I'll get a doe up there and put some meat in my new freezer. MAybe there's a buck that's camera shy???

Good luck Jeff, your right, you never know when the right buck will come strolling by that's been unseen.

Good luck SBG on your hunt,hopefully there is a camera shy deer and you will get him.
