I'm not so sure I'm comfortable with that, Gary.

Jeff

I'm gonna head into the stix and try and redeem myself. I keep saying Im going to go to a new tract......but I'm tempted (given the layoff.....and the rain we're getting last night and today) to go back into my honey hole. I've seen 2 bucks there that I didn't have on game cam......and I KNOW there's 3 more bucks in there that I'd be happy to get a chance at. I'm torn. I would just like to KNOW that the area's colled off a bit since we were in there with 4 wheelers anddogs and 3 humans. I hope we didn't push them into the next county. We did get inches and inches of rain (33 straight hours....occurring right after and while we were in there).....and it rained, last night and will be raining, today (front should blow through JUST in time to get out there, this evening). I'll play it by ear, I guess.

If I go back in the honey hole......I guess I could pick a different tree.

Suggestions????

I'm really torn.

Jeff

Just checking in gentlemen,

For those who are already hunting.. I hope your seasons are going well. Sorry about the loss of your buck Gobbler, that sucks. But it happens to us all.

For all us still waiting for September 30 or Oct 1.. this waiting crap really bites. I am losing my mind and just need to sit in a tree already!

Fortunatly I am headed to the north woods of Wisconsin with HNIJustin to film him in pursuit of big public woods whitetail. With any luck we'll see some deer, maybe a buck, possibly even get a shot. Even though I am not with bow, at least I am in the woods again. Such joy.

dm(Mike) here's what you need to do. Do all the filming necessary, get all the footage, keep it still and quiet and just as he's drawing his bow, YELL, HEY DEER.

It's just a matter of time for the rest of us as well.

My friend Kurt (Q2INWHITETAILS) from team 12 just left for his 2 hour drive home. His bow had issues and he won't let his hometown shops touch it so he ran up to have me take care of it. Somehow the rest dropped and his arrows were slamming down into it. I can't see it happening other than someone messing with it. Anyway, we were out back shooting perfect arrows, hitting a 2.5" circle at 50 yards with Muzzys.

A quick game of buck....kicking his arse buck to b. LOL and he's on his way home. At least this game he did make me a b. LOL Hi Kurt!

Good luck guys, 10 days and counting.

Believe me Rob, I've thought about worse. Maybe I'll just 'forget' to hit the record button or zip tie his bowstrings together.

But in all seriousness, I hope Justin finally gets the monkey off his shoulders this year. He's had a tough go at it the last couple and I know he's due. I just hope I shoot a bigger one LOL.
