MM:

We got into stand about 5:00, yesterday. Pretty quiet all day......'til about 7:00. I see some action over towards his stand. About 7:15.....I think I see him attach his release to his d-loop. I'm excited for him. He's not very high in the tree......so I think he's got a little problem going on.....

It turns out to be a doe and a fawn. The fawn is now DIRECTLY underneath him.....and it's on its back hooves......trying to figure him out. This goes on for a minute or so.....then mama blows him out. That's the FIRST TIME he knows there's deer around him......lol. His first sight.....is the white flags!!

What a story to tell HIS mama....lol.

Haha you better let him know that isn’t going to be the last time that kind of thing happens! Those old does are smarter than a big old buck most of the time and if it weren’t for the fawns steering them in the wrong direction the pair would be damn close to impossible to kill.

isn't the nickname swoosh from the movie "one crazy summer", I believe it's John Cusacks character.

I do not know, I got itbecasue in College I worked for NIKE, and all my clothes had the "Swoosh" on them.

They called Cusacks character "hoops", my bad! I love bad 80's movies.
