We got into stand about 5:00, yesterday. Pretty quiet all day......'til about 7:00. I see some action over towards his stand. About 7:15.....I think I see him attach his release to his d-loop. I'm excited for him. He's not very high in the tree......so I think he's got a little problem going on.....

It turns out to be a doe and a fawn. The fawn is now DIRECTLY underneath him.....and it's on its back hooves......trying to figure him out. This goes on for a minute or so.....then mama blows him out. That's the FIRST TIME he knows there's deer around him......lol. His first sight.....is the white flags!!

What a story to tell HIS mama....lol.
