Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I still working everyday to regain my strength and it is really starting to pay off. I can't get my full 74lbs back anymore but I dropped it down to 60lbs and got it tuned in again and I am going out to a new peice of private property this evening that I saw a couple nice 120+ bucks on while walking around scouting it last week. Gun season starts next week and as always I will stay faithfull to my bow and leave the shotgun and black powder in the gun safe. I could of been hunting the last 2 weeks with a X-bow but I passed on it. I will keep you all posted on how it goes.

Guy's I dropped one yesterday. I was going to pass but my season during the rut is coming to an end. I'm not sure how much more time I will get in the woods. I do have over two months left to hunt and will take my time to shootmy trophy. I will score him and post pics a little later. He does have a nice little rack.

Here you go guys. I still haven't measured him yet but he's in the 110 range give or take. The front came in and disappointed me because the temps dropped. I must be getting old or enjoyed way too many perfect hunting days this year. I went in at 6 am just as it was beginin to get light out. I set up in the area I saw the big buck the other day. It was on the edge of thicket of sapplings. I tucked up in there at day 7 am a 4 and another 6 cameright in on me. They walked around under me and left. 10 mins later this one and another one a little smaller came right in under me. There was a slow breeze and because all I had was my ball cap for my head, I was cold. I decided since it was my last morning hunt for awhile, I might as well drop something now. He walked out 10 - 15 yrds away from me and I dropped the thunder on him. He made it about 40 yrds and things went black.

congrats fieldmouse. that's a nice looking buck. goofy looking bow though .

I hunted my own land today for the first time in my life!!!! I closed on my 40 acres this morning. The seller gave me pics from this year of 4 different bucks an 8, 9, 10, and 11. The 10 and 11 are squaring off to brawl. One of the coolest trail cam pics i've seen. I guess the next property over got an 8 and a 10. Hopefully there's a couple nice ones left.
