Well guys, I had many 100 point bucks all week long. I can do one that size just about any day. I'm still trying to shoot a big/huge deer. Today, I finally saw my first big deer while hunting this year. He would have gone in the low 150's. Unfortunately, he never got closer the 60yrds. He was chasing a dozen does. I ended up staying all day in the tree because I was sure he would reappear. Oh well, it didn't happen. I'm not finished yet guys. I still have 2.5 months left to bag a big boy. If not, I'll shoot a smaller one if it will put us in the lead.

if i total up the points on all the bucks i've seen this year it will total about 80 inches. hehe. maybe i'll have some late season luck. you guys are all doing awesome though.

blackpowder season starts this weekend. i'm hoping to close on my land tomorrow and then start hunting up there saturday. i'm sure i'll get some late season bow hunting in too.
