I'm leaving in the morning for 6 days of camping and HUNTING at the farm. I've got high hopes as things are really starting to heat up here in WI. I got a decent one on camera at a scrape 15 yards from one of my stands.....I need to see him in the flesh though. Check out the fatty tumor or whatever it is on the bottom of his chest.

Another good sized one.....but the buck in the first pic must have rubbed the tree my camera was on as after him....the cam was too low to see the whole deer...as in the racks.

man i seen so many deer this weekend it was great, had some real nice shooter's about 80 yards but wouldnt come any closer. then later a nice doe came in about 15 yards and i shoot here and got it all on film as well. as soon as i get it downloaded i will put it on here. then yesterday i had a real nice 3.5 to 4 year old come in but he only had on side of his rack the other side was freshly broke off. going back out on thursday - sunday. got to get a new camera first.

SCORE!

I got a nice Bama buck! It was an evening hunt, I decided to hunt a foodplot that we have some pictures of a couple of nice bucks from. I tried to climb up at a spot that overlooksthe greenfield, but when I got as high as I could go, I still couldn't see the field very good. So I came down and sat in the edge of the field under the small pines. I was sure all that moving around had ruined the hunt, (the first one of my weekend) but I sat down on the ground at about 3:30, and a doe came in at 4:55, then my buck came in at about 5:00, and another good buck with him. They milled around and finally got at 40 yards, I couldn't wait any longer and shot. I didn't think my shotplacement was the best, so I slipped out andwe found him only a few yards away, 2 hours later. I've never taken a buck from the ground with my bow before, so it was a serious rush. This guy is on my trail cameras from the summer eating corn in the same field I shot him on. I'll post them tooif I can.

EDIT: I already posted them ealier in the thread, I'll post another though.

I scored him at 132 4/8 but I'm not sure I did it right. Is there a post that tells how to score your deer? Here's the rack, he is a nine point, with two "kickers" at the bottom backside of both antlers, the kickers are both an inch. So would you consider him a 11 point or a 9 point with two kickers??
Thanks for the help.
Trae
