Oh yeah I'll be back up the tree on wed. Unfortunately this sort of thing has happened to me before. If you fall down you got to get back up and do it again!

I think I'm going to go ahead and by a MO firearms tag so I can hunt next weekend til Wed. Rut should be on heavy and it's hard to pass up. So I'll be out there with my bow this weekend afterall.

Passed an a forky this morning. Didn't see any shasing today like on Sunday but he did freshen a scrape and I found another new one nearby. I've been freshening them myself daily aswell. I may break down and drop a small buck esp. after Sundays mishap. I kinda regretted letting him walk today!

Didn't see a thing this morning but the scrapes I've been messing with have been torn up pretty well overnight. I moved a "turd from one scrape to another and the owner(s) didn't like that at all. The scrape was doubled in size and the branch was really torn up. I'm hoping the buck comes around this afternoon!

Well the big buck never showed but Forky ran by chasing his girlfriend, and it must have been true love cuz he didn't even notice my decoy. Really windy today but tomorrow pm should be really good!

Killed another button buck last night, more great meat for the freezer but nothing yet for the wall or the contest, The initial rut will be winding down here soon and I'm not sure when I'll be back out.
