I went up to a creek called littlemahoning. Saw some trout in there, but only managed 1 hit an missed it. My dad caught 1 about 13"

I did get some trail cam pics of the bucks in my yard.

Ryan - the sounds like you have been hanging around mefor a while - the only difference - I would not have gotten the hit!!

Rybo - looks like you might have a few dandies scampering around the estate next fall. It appears that the big one has a penchant for pumpkin, so next fallI'll bring my bow and wear my pumpkin suit. He won't be able to resist. Hah

Nothing to report here, but high winds (70+ mph) and no power at the house the last 5 days and counting. Been a lot offun . According to the National News its the worst wind storm in The PNW in 100 years..(im not to sure about that but its been hard on folks) I hunted every day since Thursday. Rain, sleet snow, trees snapping, then clear and cold yesterday and Sat eve...( I hunted my ground blind thosehigh winddays) I have not seen one deer move since Friday. [8D][:@]

Weather is cold and clear today, was 11 at my place this morning. Much nicer than late last week. Cant hunt till Wed. Will keep after it every day from that point on.. Dont have the PC working at home as of now. Will get online over break which starts Wed.. if I can...

Yea that's a pumpkin. Tossed out the fall decorations. Cornstalks and pumpkins. I don't know if the one is shed or busted. These are the 1st bucks I've seen in my yard in over a year.Coincidently its also been about 3 weeks since the last time my neighbors son has run his dog back there. The spot was never that good to start, but for the last 1.5 years that he's run his dog there I've seen almost no deer, and the rare ones I have are WELL after dark.

Just checking in!! Been real busy these last few days, Christmas has started for me.
