Hey fellas, not up to much here, My water hole is froze over so goose hunting is now done for the year, It runs untill the 29th but I am without a place to go.

Deer season is looking bleak, I may or may not have a place to go. Its all in the air for now. I am going to keep on it, and see if I can drum up some new property but so far its not looking good at all.

I do not seem to have much luck in the timber, I love the field edges.

I may go crazy if I can not deer hunt. I know some public land, but I am sure to loose my calm out there. It will all work out.

Hey guys sorry it has been awhile. I have been so busy getting ready for the police acadamey. I have to report this friday. I will be staying their monday through friday. I have 6 months to look forward to. I will not be able to get on much but will try to stay up on things. I wish you all good luck in shed hunting and any other hunting you will be doing. Whats everyone been up to? I've been working ALOT lately. My boys are wrapping up the basketball seasons, so that will give me more free time to scout for next year and look for sheds in the coming weeks. I've been seeing alot of deer across the road from my house. Its a 55 acre field of cut corn. The farmer died a few weeks back( he farmed my ground also) and now his wife is talking to a developer about sellling it to put in a subdivision. Just what I needed...no more shooting the shotgun in the yard or taking a leak lol. I kinda hope it falls through....anyone want some ground in IL, let me know....I'll keep a close eye on it for you lol.

Well guys I have some good news to share

1. I start a new job a week from monday. I am excited about it. Should leave planty of hunting time since it has flex hours.

2. My buck mount is done, here he is.

Dang it I can't see the photo of your mount here at work. I will check it out when I get home today. I know my boys will want to see it. OBTW, your still the best deer hunter in their eyes this year since you shot a big one and I didnt. Tyson is still making me show him contest photo when ever he sees me on HNI at home.

I'm just coaching basketball and trying to fit life in around it. I need to find a fresh shed or two...

Hey William, good luck at the academy. How has everyone been? I am so crazy at work right now that I dont get home until 7:30 -8:00, and by the time I get shower, and supper done, it time for bed. I did have a chance to get out last weekend, and do some scouting, and look for some sheds, but no luck.
