Hey guys. Been working like theres no tomorrow. Have to buy a new boat motor. I've hunted maybe 10 days this entire season. But I have until the middle of January. The rut isnt even starting here, so I'm in no hurry.

Well boys I seen him yesterday morning. A massive huge monsterous, did I mention FRICKING BIG 8 point! 20 yards but in the willows[:@]. No shot I watched him for what seemed like 10 minutes. I tried everything, grunting, snort weezeing, even rattling after he passed and nothing[:@][:@]! The one good thing is he never busted me, so there is hope.

Nice, TeeJay, at least you've seen him. Around here, I last saw "Big Boy" 4 or 5 days before the season started. I don't expect to see him for another week or two, if what he did last year holds. In fact, like I said earlier, it seems all my decent bucks have disappeared. The construction around here is just killing my season - I barely see anything at all during the week.

Been a while. Not much time for the computer when I'm hunting constantly. I shot an 11 pt during mn gun season, but I still have my archery tag cause I had my friend tag it. Other than that I've gotten a couple of does and still hitting it pretty hard. Well, good luck to you all and here's a pic of that buck.

Still hunting fellas, every day as a matter of fact! The g/friend is starting to get real sick of fall. Only 4 weeks left and it is getting cold out. We are still at it tho.

Hello everyone, I've been working to much to post. Plus my computer has a virus on it so i'm at the library right know.

I've been hunting as much as possible 2 to 3 time on the week end.
On thanksgiving I had a really nice 8-10 pointer 10 yards away from me grunting a chasing 2 doe. It was thebiggest buck i'd ever seen. Didn't get a shot off because it never stopped. The worst part was that i was gun hunting.

Indiana 3 years ago went to the 1 buck rule but here in Vandaburgh county you can still take 2 buck one with gun and one with bow or 2 with bow. I'llbe doing the archery hunting over christmas when i get a day off. I did just by my first muzzle loader last night. 3 weeks of it and 2 weeks of archery left.

Boys, I have some bad bad news! I shot a respectable 8 point this morning. I would guess in that lower 120". 15 yd broadside i watched run away with my arrow out both sides perfect hit. He ran over a hill and I lost sight of him so I put the Mathews away and pulled my thermos out of my pack and poured me a cup, lit up a smoke and gleemed with happieness! For about 45 minutes anyway, then I heard 2 gun shots and someone say "we got him" so i get out the stand and follow the blood trail up to my deer! There is 2 guys standing over him inblaze oarngeboth holding muzzleloaders. So I approached them and said "hello that is my arrow poking out his side" The older of the 2 said "well that is our bullet holes in him". I said "was he easy to hit, considering he wasnt moving and couldnt because he was DEAD". Then they started getting kind of bucky and said keep him just go back to your deer camp or local tavern and tell the truth. That you shot a dead bow killed buck

TeeJay, I am aghast! That totally sucks; could you have got the authorities involved and shown the arrow entrance and exit as well as the blood trail? With proper pressure, maybe these idiots would have caved. That's just inexcusable.
