Did you guys see D&DH? The life of that buck?
That was so cool to see. He peaked at age 6.5 with B &C of 166" and didnt lose much at all at 7 and 8y.o. Even grew some stickers. Lived to be 12.5 y.o. dying in December from Bone Cancer.
That was a very amazing thing to watch. And I would bet money no one hear would have aged him over 5.5 when he was really 9.5
Anybody else seen that episode?

I'm just too busy to catch that show as often as I would like... I'd love to buy the complete seasons' worth on DVD if they'd come out with it.

RE: Did you guys see D&DH? The life of that buck?
The buck started out as a spike in the Adirondacks. After two or three years Alsheimer got permission from the DEC to tranquilize the deer and transplanted it to his property in western NY for his study. The story was amazing because the buck was not progressing well in the Adirondacks but under the right food and soil conditions it got to be a 170ish class and lived twelve years. For those that didn't see it
