Hey Everyone

I just applied to be a hunters ed./bowhunters ed. instructer and I am wondering what you all enjoyed about your hunters ed. experiance or your instructors.

i actually took it twice the first time was just plain boring as hell. the second time, the guys had a laser shot system, that had a screen and comp and a pellet gun with a laser thing on it and you could go through dif senarios where you can shoot or cant shoot and it seemed realistic and i thought that was awesome and i think that actually taught us the most. but that thing costs a crap load of money.

When i took it the second day of it they took us out and lets us shoot trap with 410's and 20 ga. That was alot of fun. I also got a 98%.

Hunters education is boring to me. It's all information that I already knew. If I didn't have to take it, then it would be a big waste of 12 hours.

I agree with the rest, I am and avid hunter and have been hunting for 8 years now, si when I took hunter's ed I knew as much as the instructors did. I had to take it so I didn't have the choice, but it taught me nothing. I know this doesn't really help your question, but I admire you for wanting to teach younger kids and get them into hunting, I would love to do that!
