The cull peanuts are when the farmers bring their crop to the peanut mill and they unload them, screen them and get out the trash. A lot of small goobers and busted open peanuts screen out and are out the back door. We know a few people that work at the mill and they don't mind getting grain wagons set aside for us. We had two wagons, about 14 tons or so, under a shed when hurricane Ivan hit. The roof blew off and the rain soaked and ruined all the goobers. It was a stinking mess.

We buy corn/beans 50/50 bagged here in TX at the local feed store and we are definitely not even in decent deer country!
Ask around at rural feed stores. Someone is bound to have it!
If your feeder will feed it there is something called Golden Nuggets thats about 6.50 a bag here and the deer walk past the corn to get to it. My buddy bought a self feeder. Deer had never seen one before. They ended up emptying it of 200 pounds of the nuggets in about 2 weeks. The protein is not high but more than corn. And at a decent price.
