I plan to plant several small food plots that are in some challenging terrain. Where to I get lime from and how do I get it to the food plots. How do I spread the lime once I get it there? I have never delt with lime or applying it and help would be appreciated.
Liquid fertilizer vs. Pellets

Look to the nearest Agricultural co-op. That's where farmers get their lime. They'll truck it for you (for a price) or you can haul it yourself if you've got a pickup or a trailer. Lime is granular. You can spread it by hand, out of a bucketor with a fertilizer spreader. The same goes for fertilizer. Stay away from liquid fertilizer. It costs more to transport and you'll need special equipment to spread it.
