Do deer eat Blackberries???

I hunt on a Summit....besides Acorns,Grass,Blackberries,and Whatever people throw out....what should I put out.

I planted clover this year.I am having a bigger Food Plot next year and I'll be the only one around with a Food Plot.Also I was thinking of plating
Apple,Peach,and Cherry Trees....are the Peach & Cherry any good?
Also we are plating Corn & Beans.

What do you think I should plant????

with all the things you're planting, in a couple years you can open your own bakery.

deer love pears and apples,not peaches so much.They'll browse your apple trees heavily.If a good crop of white oaks are dropping acorns that's the place to hunt.They pretty much like them over anything.Clover is decent for deer and turkeys but depending where you're at they'll nail rape and turnips.

Here in NC..Apple,peach, trees got a late frost and it killed the blooms..I suggest you plant white oaks or saw tooth oaks in about 10 years they produce a nice supply of acorns..Apple trees and peach trees are well known deer attractants;however, you cant count on them as good as an oldfashion oak tree..Also we have beetle problems and june bugs so to me oaks are the best choice..

Iforgot to mention...Yes deer love blackberries..I went out to my faviorite blackberry bush to get some berrys for some homemade wineand i had to get in the thorns to get them the deer had allready cleaned the edges out..[:@]

The thing to keep in mind with blackbeery bushes is that the deer love them but they grow and take over land quickly. We had some on our property and they spread like wildfire. We had to put some work into getting them trimmed up. On a side note horses and mules love to eat them too. We had one mule eat them thorns and all.

Yes they will eat them. Remeber, like us, deer like diversity. It sounds like you are set for the future!
