Has anybody else tried this for a warm
season planting? I planted it in May
and the deer browsed it heavily right up to Oct.
1st. Ive also seen more deer on the property
this year than ever before. The land is somewhat
sandy so regular clovers wont last but this stuff
did great.

Did you do a soil sample?

No. I did this on a last minute thing.
I did apply about 100lb of lime and 200 lb
of triple 16 fertilizer for a 1 acre plot.

Do yourself a favor and do a soil sample. If there is any place a foodplot may go bad, it's when the soil is not sampled and the resulting directions followed. It takes about 2-3 tons an acre to raise the soil pH value one point. This may take in excess of 6 months or into better than a year, depending on the soil make up.
