Default Clover

I planted about an acre of clover this fall and the leaves are starting to turn red on some of the plants. I was wondering if you'll could help me out and let me know what is causing this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

What type of clover did you plant? Are you getting freezing weather?

The only thing I have heard about Crimson Clover is that you have to plant it Over and Over.

Hey I got down to Texas sometimes to do some hunting. Did you go and test the soil and what did it turn out like and did you go and plant it in the summer or fall or spring its possible that if u planted in the summer or fall then the clover didnt get enough water in its start of. So the thing to do would take soil tests then plant clover in the spring and maybe plant a little alfalfa with it.

Depending on where you are in Texas you may have ahard time with alfalfa. We usually dont have cool enough nights or enough rain for that. I dont know anything about it but crimson sounds red to me. Maybe its supposed to turn red?
