Are whitetail institute spraysway more expensive then what the farmers use

or recomend other sprays for grasses for my clover plot thanks

not knowing what you are trying to purchase, i would say with a 90 percent confidence interval that what you buy from white tail institute is probably 30-75 percent higher than what you would pay for the same active ingredient from a grain elevator or farm supply store. it's probably sethoxydim.

Those prices seem very high.

They are probably buying the chemicals from the same place as the farm supply businesses, but they sell smaller quantities to the hunters and thus jack the price up.

My local feed mill sold us stuff that worked great for about $40, and it was enough to do 10 acres with. Here are before and after pics.........

You missed a couple spots!

Farm supply stores will sell for WAY less than food plot companies.
Just remember in some states to purchase the stuff farmers use you might need a applicators license. Contact you local farm extension office and they can tell you.

I expect they're more but what they sold me worked and they had somebody there that could tell me what I needed to do. I'd never sprayed anything but Round-up before and they sold me arrest and it killed all the grass in my 2 acre field of alfalfa.

Had touuble with thistle, any ideas. Can't get rid of it.

Otis, spray the thistles with 2,4D and it will kill them. Spot spray them and keep it away from the clovers and alfalfa.
