You can get a good used set uo for 500 0r less. Or the best deal is a new Excal Pheonix for about 500 at bow hunter super store. I just bought a Excal Vixen for 450 with all the fixen plus some...

Well there are decent ones and there real good ones and so on. Hortons from the Summit on up, Ten Pts. several lower cost models are decent but price goes up quickly. Lot of folks are wanting a Desert Stryker And Parkers. Thats about all of the Compound CB's. Recurves only one company in town Excalall their models aregreat.
So prices start at $ 250 and go up to 2K!

I pride myself on cheap.
I bought a Horton 150 off ebay for $200, a red dot scope for $40, a 1/2 dz bolts at Cabela's with a voucher for free, my friend gave me 4 broadheads.
The bow is dead on at 20 yards, 1" low at 30 with enough energy to bury the shaft 1/2 of it length in a "the Block" target.
It'll kill a deer.
