Default FOOD PLOT QUESTION

JUST GOT BACK FROM CHECKING THE NEW FOOD PLOT.THE CLOVER IS STARTING TO COME UP NICE. THE PLOT HAS SOME GRASS IN IT AND I WAS WONDERING WHEN I SHOULD START TO SPRAY FOR GRASS AND WEED CONTROL. WE USED IMPERIAL CLOVER AND WE ARE THINKING ABOUT USING ARREST FROM WHITETAIL INSTITUTE. HOW TALL DOES THE CLOVER HAVE TO BE BEFORE WE START TO SPRAY ? AND IS THERE ANY OTHER TYPE OF SPRAY WE COULD USE ? THE PLOT IS A LITTLE OVER AN ACRE AND WAS JUST ESTABLISHED THIS YEAR.

TURN YOUR CAPS LOCK KEY OFF.

Then you can get some grass killer. The active ingredient is sethoxydim. It takes about 2 weeks to work, and is probaby cheaper than the Arrest.

We used Arrest on our clover plot last year and it worked very well. This year we have weeds again, but not nearly as many as last year.
