Default Food plot Question??

I was wondering if it is ok to plant a food plot in the wood under medium light conditions or is just good for open light???
Thanks

You want to plant a place that gets at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. Keep in mind that the path of the sun changes with the passing of the days.

Most crops which are suitable for a food plot do best grown in full or nearly full sunlight. That could be a south-facing embankment, a clearing or even a wide logging road under the right conditions. Also check your fertility. Make sure your soil isn't depleted and the ph is in a range which is suitable for the crop you're looking at.Alowph prevents plants from uptaking nutrients even though they may be present.
