anyone in va remember the guy about 5 years back, ice storm kept
him off the mountain where he had planned to hunt in the national forest,so his only option ifhe wanted to hunt was to hunt the one acre peice that he owned, missed a small six that morning stayed put anyway, about an hour later saw movement in the brush, got ready, buck stepped out guy takes it, waits walks over find the biggest eight poiner ever killed in va,I read about it in the va game magazine, then saw the deer when the outdoor expo came to town monster eight, one acre of land

The 3rd largest typical buck with bow in Wisconsin was harvested by a man who hunted in his back yard , he owned 5 acres.

Just go where the sign looks best, doesn't matter how big or small. At least you have land to hunt and aren't paying for it.
