No matter how you say it is still wrong.
To feed your kids??????
In this day and age get real to many places & way to get food(welfare,church,elkclub vets club & so on.
Our local super market even will give a famialy in trouble help & it is not a litte chain store It's TOPS one of the biggest.
Poaching is wrong and never should be ok for any reason.
This is not the great depresion it's 2005!!!!!!!!

Food banks, Elk Club, Vets Club, and yes, evern grocery stores will only give to families once a month. The amount of food they give you is enough to last 2 or 3 days tops, it isn't enough to feed a family. I've been there, I've done that, it isn't as much help as everyone seems to think. It isn't a saving grace. It will tide you over for a little while, but what then? You can only go once a month.

Iknow been there 2 years ago I got hurt at work.
It takes a while for comp to start so i was in trouble & went down & got food stamps till I could get back on my feet again so I do have a idea how the system works & still believe that to poach is only hurting not only your self but also everyother hunter.
I'f you can't get the help you should beable to then you have done somthing wrong.

I have alot more respect for a poacher feeding his family then a welfare moocher. At least the poacher is putting some physical effort into it.

Problem is poaching cause they really need the food is a rarity. Almost all, of the poachers I know don't do it for the food. If they did, they wouldn't come home with the big rack.

I lived my whole life in WV and Ky, and know a bunch of people who said they had too for the family and all. But most of them was too lazy to work, big drunks, couldn't hold a job down like my ex father inlaw, and then bought home the big rack they got at night. Hey, I lost my dad at 6mo old to a war, my mother had to raise my bother and me and go to nursing school, and we always had food on the table. Yea, we had to raise a garden and most of the family had chickens and all to help us. I managed to get a scholarship to a college and have been an engineer for 12 years. If we can make it, they can too.

If that was aimed at me to h with you I get help for my famialy because
i have a broken hip & can't work the misses had to quite work to take care of me when we could we both went back to work.
so stick it.

Calm down man, seriously. Maybe you should ask the doctor for a chill pill next time you go in for a checkup.

Not me. Welfare is legal, poaching is not. Poachers are stealing MY deer illegally. Welfare moochers are also taking MY money, but it's legal. The guys that broke into my garage and stole my tool boxes that were bolted to the wall put a great deal of physical and mental effort into that, too. Am I supposed to respect them more than honest, peaceful welfare recipients?

Heck of a point you got there jones. Kinda hard to argue when you put it like that.

POACHING IS POACHING WHICH IS ILLEGAL. THERE ARE ALWAYS ALTERNATIVES.
