post rut rattlin

I have heard that you can rattle before rut, and durring it and it will attract deer, but will it attract deer after rut? Thanks.

Depends on how long after the rut you rattle. Immediate post rut you often have mature bucks respond, hoping to find a fight over a doe that didn't get bred her first cycle.
