It would be my 1st kill a real nice 10 point when i was 17yrs old.I had been hunting since I was 13 so you can image how I felt to score on a buck that big,but to tell the truth I would have been just as happy to have taken a small spike.

It was Nov. 19, 1995 at 1:00 in the afternoon. My hunting partner and I was in his truck and we had just driven through a gate going into a field bordering a 200 acre block of timber. I got back in the truck after shutting the gate and we started up the field. He stops the truck,reaches in the back seat, grabs his rifle loads it quickly and heads off for a ditch with a bunch of scrub oaks in it out in the middle of this field. I got out and loaded my rifle and stood in front of the truck. when he gets in the ditch and starts walking up through it , 3 does come running out and jump the fence and go into the 200 acres of timber 150 yards ahead of me. I walk up to where the does jump the fence and I hear my hunting partner yelling at me. A big racked buck is running out of the ditch taking the same path the 3 does took, which is right where I'm standing. He gets within 15 yards of me and I shot him running right at me. He scored 152 2/8 with 4 1/8 in deductions for a net of 148 1/8. It was just luck and being in the right place at the right time but it seems like it happened last year.

would have to be last year, was during the youth season and as well the first year my daughter could hunt with a gun , she was excited at the fact that she had bought her first shotgun a single barrel 20ga with iron sights,, we got back into the woods for the evening hunt, and not 15 minutes after we got the blind set up

she was looking around with the binoc's and all of a sudden here comes 7 deer up out of the ravene and as she watched she said dad theres a buck , he was pushing the other deer up the trail. now she has been hunting for 3 yrs and this was the first time she has seen a buck while on stand.
well the buck never came into range he broke off from the other deer and went down another trail she never got a shot but just seeing the excitement in her was enough to make this my most memorable hunt .. and now my second oldest will be hunting this yr as well, i kinda feel lucky in the fact that my 2 daughters are interested in hunting and hopefully my 3 boys will be as well

There would be a few, my 1st animal ever a black squirrle. And my 1st deer a few years ago.
