I am taking my moms bottle of pure vanilla extract, and I am going to put in in a bottle and spray it on some trees and on myself when I go scouting next.

I use it in my homemade acorn scent. It definatly works better than anything else ive tried. I always put a few drops out when I set up my game cam and have gotten some great shots.
I'll try to post the pics later. Hunt101 seems to be down right now.

If deer respond well to vanilla, I wonder what they'd do if they smelled chocolate chips? Or rocky road?

i've used it in the past. it worked for me as a cover scent. only problem i had was it seemed to attract insects in the early bow season here in illinois.

Guys stick with the Mexican authentic extract. Not your mommies vanilla teeny weanie spice bottle stuff. I'm telling you the truth. Also it's a quart for 6 or 7 dollars so it's cheap enough too.
