I quess the indians hunted buffalo with spears. I would call that big game. I wonder if they had Magnum Spears for big dangerous game? Never go under speared?

4 or 5 years ago I remember reading about a guy in LA that killed a boar with a spear, it was in the local paper, then the local game warden gave him a ticket..........illegal weapon.

I read that story years ago in outdoor life but it was a 10 point buck it was a doctor in louisana and he stuck it from his stand with a 10' spear and then used his dog to track it and they aid the game wardens herd about it but never found anything then the doc sent his picture into the local paper with him and the deer and spear and the wardens got him for an illegal weapon since theres no spear season and he used a dog out of season it was a neat story i cut it out and have it around the house somewhere id find it and scan it if i had a scanner
