My wife and I lovve it, my 4 kids also love it--when i cook it i cant cook it fast enough!! my two youngest ones -->3 yr old son and my 16mnth old daughter had eatin it for there first time this year--WOW --it feels so good knowing they all enjoy it--- ---->not to ramble on but the day i dragged my deer home my 3yr old wouldnt stay out of the window while i was outside rinseing it out! then my older two (9-7) watched me skin and quarter it out!! Its a great feeling!!

My family depends on it . we put only five in the freezer and now i must go bow hunting to top it off with more!

Atlasman made a good point . maybe calling it venison would help some get over the phobia of eating deer [] i said it!

in my house it's just deer. steaks, burger or sausage. oh and i havent made jerky yet.

and as atlasman said eating venison is just natural to us. you come to my house for dinner you may just get some!

I agree that if people called it "venison" it may change their mind. My wife never had it up until 6 years ago. Now she loves it. My daughter is only 14 months old and I am going to see if I can get her to eat some of it here soon. it's just too good not to eat it.

My whole family eats it. We'd rather eat it than store bought beef. If I'm lucky enough to harvest 3-4 deer a year, we usually don't even buy any beef that year, unless it's a big juicy T-bone steak. Haven't been able to give them up yet.
