I'm from Texas. South Central parts, near San Antonio. Do most of my hunting around Hondo (40 miles west of SA) and I have another place just NW of here. I named the bigger of the 2 bucks I got this year Ol Gutshot because, well, I gutshot him. He was quartering away and I thought I was going to lose him. The 7mm entered in his midsection and tore up his stomach before taking the opposite lung on exit. I was about 2 inches off where I wanted to be, but he made it about 70 yards and dropped. Hence, Ol Gutshot. Kinda silly, but I lkie to name them.
