badshot as with anything buckshot has its place and I have a feeling that due to the size of the buck and that I was at what I consider close to maximum range for double aught buck may have been the reason it took three shots to put him down, I still feel he was dead on his feet after the first shot though, he never kicked, ran or bawled.
NY Bowhunter Murphy didn't help with the drag, but the guy who hunts the property next to where I was hunting helped me drag him out, I took my handtruck down and it was still a job getting him out!
PAhunterJEN double aught buck is pretty darn big, unlike #4s used on ducks and the like they are easy to see and dig out if need be, I butcher my own deer so I take the time to dig out any hidden buckshot.
I will try and have pics by Friday or Monday, I have to finish the roll before I get it developed, trust me though, he is big bodied, but his rack is not all that big.
