Default Moon Phase

Hunt the rut using lunar cycles.

Fact or Fiction?

Any thoughts

It' s a hard proven FACT, well to some it is, to some it is about as predictable as the weather, cold in the winter hot in the summer Depends on who you ask adn what mood they are in at the time. Me, I think it is fiction, but I do beleive that it will happen about the smae time from year to year! The only reason I keep track of what the moon is doing is som I know if I need to carry a flash light with me to see while getting to and from the stand

All I know is that when I get the opportunity to do some hunting, I do. I hunt as often as posible and have never had the moon play into my plans. I have never decided not to go because of the moon phase. That being said, I can appreciate those who put a lot of emphasis on hunting during different moon phases, I' m just not one of them.

The only stock I really put into the moon phase is that during the full moon the deer move more at night!

I look at moon position rather than phase. But as someone said, neither really matters to me if I have the chance to go. I just go. .
