Ive tried them and I dont like them very well. I shot 2 boxes of em and
when I retrieved the slugs, 3 of them still had the sabot attached[
]
I wasnt going for accurracy, but I would imagine that would have a
pretty negative affect.

I shoot lightfields exclusively out of my deer slayer. They are a devestating hitter, and extremely accurate out of the right setup. I shoo tthem out of a rifled barrel. I have never experienced the problems that Indiana Dude has.

I shoot the lightfield hybred EXP 2 3/4 inch 1 1/4 oz slugs in my mossberg 695.I can shoot 3 of them into 2 1/2 inch group at 100yds off the bench and with the scope on 5x. I have only shot one doe with this slug but I was impressed she dropped as soon As she was hit.The distance was only 25 yds but the lightfield put one hell of an exit hole in her.
