Gun Deer Only
#261

My Kentucky deer the last two years. 2012 buck was shot on opening day with a Marlin 336ER (356 Win) and the 2013 buck was killed with a Marlin .444S. Both shot from the same stand. I might sit there next year too!

4 years of 100's & 100's of pictures / videos of this buck that I call ( No Brows ).
Over the four years, I only saw him twice from the stand.
The first time was bow season of 2012 and I passed on him at 30 yards.
The second time was gun season of 2013 and I decided to harvest him.
Aging his jaw, he definitely is 5 1/2 years old, possibly 6 1/2.
Hard to tell if tooth #4 if flat enough to be 6 1/2.
Took him with a Mossberg 935, Remington copper solid slug.
60 yard shoot to the neck
Took him 12/14/2014 @ 8am on the nose.

11/23/2013 South Dakota Rifle... We've gotten many pictures of this buck we named "Brows" and spent 20+ days in the tree stand trying to get him with the bow but could never get the deal done. The first morning of the rifle season he steped out of a set of cedar trees with a doe, I got them both. He's ruff scores at about 158" and he's got well over 20" broken off. 14 1/2" slpit brow tines. He's going to look nice on the wall!
