I was not looking for a trophy so this will do, very heavy deer had to have the wife help me load it in the P/U. LOL shot at 112 yards, lower neck shot just above the shoulder, deer died in about 30 seconds. Rifle, Remington .270 with 150 grain bullet, nikon scope. I love the lower base neck shot "when the deer is quartering" with the head slightly turned. Seems like the bullet has a better chance to do heart damage, as well as immobilize the deer, no blood trailing, keeps the coyotes from stealing your meat. Gary

I shot this 12 pointer(split G2's and G3) in South Central Wisconsin on 11/23/12. This was my number one buck on the land I hunt.

Well, I didn't get a buck (just a huge doe) so I'll post a pic of my SIL's buck he shot by his house just out of city limits. He was in his long johns and looked out the window by their feeder (legal) and this 12 pointer was feeding almost at closing time. He ran down in the basement, shot a primer in his muzzleloader and loaded it up and climbed out the back bedroom window, sneaked around the house and got it. Normally never shoots them off their feeder but this one was during season and nice.
