Never hunted deer with dogs and/or buckshot. Neither is allowed in Wisconsin.
We do have deer drives (some hunters post while others drive through the crap) but I hate that kind of hunting. The shots are so fast you really don't know how good the deer is your shooting at!

I see your plates are from VA and this past Saturday was only the start of muzzle loading season, and you can't use dogs during it. Or are you in a special area or something?
Yes in a few cities here in southeast VA. we have early season that starts Oct. 1st for deer and bear with firearms.
